Q U E S T I O N S

What should I wear?

We would love to see our family and friends dress up! We are requesting cocktail attire for the celebration. This can include mid-to-floor length dresses or pantsuits for women, and dress shirts or suits for men. We kindly ask that white dresses or dresses with a train be avoided.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Yes! Both our ceremony and dinner will take place outside amongst the beautiful greenery of Big Sur. Evenings in Big Sur can get a little chilly, with temperatures historically ranging from mid-70s during the day, to 50 at night. Heaters, fire pits, and cozy blankets will be available to keep you warm. Ladies, please keep the outdoor setting in mind when selecting shoes.

When should I RSVP?

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible, however, our deadline is TBD. If we do not receive your RSVP by this date, you will be marked as “not attending.” We would love to celebrate with you, but we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Can I bring a guest or date?

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate guests who have received a formal invite. Plus ones were confirmed in advance and will be indicated on your invitation envelope. We appreciate your understanding as we keep the celebration intimate with our closest family and friends.

Are children welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception as an adults-only event, with the exception of the little ones in our wedding ceremony, and the Bride’s immediate family.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. We’re requesting that guests arrive by 3:15 PM to get settled. Refreshments will be waiting for you!

Where do I park?

Parking at our venue is very limited and will be reserved for vendor use. We have arranged for a shuttle to transport guests between our designated lodge, Glen Oaks, and our venue, The Village, just 2 minutes away. We encourage everyone to stay, relax, and celebrate with us. We kindly ask that you avoid late-night driving and let the shuttle take care of the rest!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We’d love for you to be fully present with us during the ceremony so we’re keeping it unplugged—no phones or cameras, please. After the ceremony, feel free to capture all the photos and videos!

Where should I direct any other questions?

Should you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Bride or Groom.
